The Montreal International Black Film Festival is just around the corner, taking place from Wednesday, September 27, to Sunday, October 1. Sales Agent Alexandra Hubert will proudly represent NFB Archives in a panel discussion entitled "The Keepers of Our Past: Preserving Our Black History" on Saturday, September 30, at 3 p.m. This free-of-charge event, which is being held in English at Montreal's Afromusée (533 Rue Ontario E.), will explore what's needed to protect Black history from being erased. Sharing the stage with Alexandra will be Guy Mushagalusa Chigoho, General Manager & Founder of Afromusée, and Steven High, Full Professor at Concordia University's Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling.
