[Remark: the fire which started shortly after 7 o'clock in the evening in a pulp pile on the north side of the Ottawa River caused half a million dollars damage and immobilized the EB Eddy Company Plant for three days. The fire burned into the night and on into the next day, firemen realizing none of the pulpwood could be saved, fought to keep the fire under control.] Night shots of piles of pulp wood burning, reflected in water of the Ottawa River.
