Shots of locomotive pushing loaded flat cars to unloading bay, of logs tumbling down into water. Men guiding logs onto jack-ladder, logs being sawn into equal lengths-four or five feet by bank of rotary buzz saws. Wood being guided into chippers. Sequence on wood chips being produced, processed as they move at high speed on belt conveyors. Two shots of base of digesters, of top of digesters, digesters being loaded with chips. Man taking samples of chips and testing them in plant testing station. Cut to tubing and pipes at base of digesters, man opening valve. Sequence on cooked wood pulp being processed, washed, screened, purified, bleached. Every once in a while, a tester would take samples of pulp and test them on the floor in special testing stations.
