Sequence inside packing room, several women at work. MCS of hands packing salmon into cans. The cans of salmon are moved onto a convoyer to the salter, then to a machine that puts lids on without sealing them. Cans go through a steamer for eight minutes, then are sealed. MCSs of an intricate looking machine, with cans moving at high speed. Men assemble several cans together and put them into a cooker. After cooking cans are removed and tested for air leaks and washed. Interior of lacquering room, thousands of cans piled one on top the other. Sequence on lacquering operation and on the final packing.
