PAN along waterfront of Yellowknife where Beaver planes are moored. AERIAL SHOTS over dense bush country, Indigenous men watch plane taking off after leaving cage for beaver with them. AERIAL SHOTS over bush and takes where beaver are plentifull. Plane being unloaded and conservationists paddling up stream in canoe, two men preparing and setting beaver traps, catching beaver, putting him in a bag and taking him to the census station where beaver is weighed and duly recorded. In all cases, Aboriginals are assisting the conservationists. Beaver being tagged, measured and finally is released to freedom again. Aboriginals and conservationists gathering from the screenlike traps used to catch them. There is no harm to beaver. CS of beaver being released and running around at man's feet. Shots of tents where conservationists live while engaged in beaver project. Shots of beavers in cages along shore. Single engine monoplane lands on lake, it is loaded with beavers and takes off to release new beavers in a new breeding area. (800 ft)
