Various CSs of Canadian etcher David Blackwood at work in his studio, he applies a coat of a mixture of bee wax, tar and varsol on a copper plate then plate is heated in order to melt wax which flows more evenly on plate. Various CSs and CUs of artist as he transfers the final design to surface of wax on plate, using a carbon paper. CUs of artist's hand retracing lines in wax on surface of plate with a needle. Several CSs of artist transfering plate to a bath of nitric acid, then to a tray of water to dilute the acid on surface of plate, including CUs of plate.
