A stretcher case is greeted by a woman, officers arrive, chat, are greeted. CUs of Major Rosario Lévesque, H/Major Armand Sabourin, Lieutenant Colonel D Ménard of the Fusiliers Mont-Royal with his arm in a sling. Honourable Charles "Chubby" Power greets the men, delivers a speech. Lieutenant Colonel D Ménard speaks and then Chaplain Armand Sabourin. HAS of the Château Frontenac and of a large crowd of civilians and soldiers. Lieutenant Colonel Ménard alights from the train and is greeted by Brigadier P Vanier. Sequence of inspection of honour guard by Ménard and other officers and shots of soldiers marching past the camera in review. HAS of city street, large crowd, the Porte Saint-Jean in background, a streetcar stopped by the crowd. Sequence on march past of Canadian Women's Army Corps, airmen and roll past of motorized units.
