Cut to man walking in rice field under his umbrella, checking workers and back at home, of woman cooking rice, girl making-up, woman combing hair of little girl and making her put on a dress, woman cooking chapattis (Indian bread) and sweeping off the floor, of two men sitting on the ground with rice fields in background, of old man at pump pouring water on his head, of woman putting oil in his hair with old woman coming to sit with them.
