STK-ID 38565

Boating and static shots of a diving site with a barge belonging to the National Historic Sites Service of Canada, located offshore of the Restigouche River in the Chaleur Bay (in French, Baie des Chaleurs); some activity on the barge. MCU of a diver putting on his scuba gear. PAN from the inlet to a raft with several divers and underwater archaeologists getting ready to go in the water. Long sequence made of underwater shots showing several divers swimming past the camera, working at the bottom of the Restigouche River, clearing artifacts from a sunken eighteenth-century French frigate; the water is murky and the divers cannot be seen distinctly except when they swim past the camera. Cut to a shot of a diver coming up to the surface of the water to fetch an underwater spotlight. More underwater shots of the divers unearthing artifacts.
