VAR (including SA, FA, RA) of large gray and white owl with dark eyes (probably great gray owl or strix nebulosa) sitting or laying in severed tree trunk, blending in very well. Owl digging in and puffing its feathers, turning around to show tail feathers; wind ruffling feathers sometimes, downy feathers of nest protruding from tree trunk, evergreen branches framing one side of shot.
