Interview with Roch Carrier standing in front of outdoor rink and speaking about his childhood memories of hockey, about how hockey was a form of spiritual experience, how the lifestyle was so much different back then, how they used to connect with their hockey heroes through radio and how they preferred it over television, how they viewed the hockey players as angels or saints and how their connection with Maurice Richard was much more than a sweater, it was as though they embodied him while they played, about the importance of dreams, and the story behind "The Hockey Sweater". He goes on to say that he doesn't know a better metaphor for life than a hockey game, meaning that you must bring to it whatever you have been given in life and do the best that you can. He also speaks about his father and how he never played hockey, how all the kids used to wear Eaton's catalogues on their legs instead of pads, about their impressions of the outside world, i.e. Toronto and how there is no longer a spiritual connection with hockey teams now that trading is so common.
