Entered into Confederation in 1949, Newfoundland is a huge island in the Atlantic, east of Labrador from which it is separated by the Strait of Belle Isle. After the capital, we visit two villages and a large paper mill. Facilities at the paper mill Bowaters. Workers of the Bowaters at work, striving to turn trees into paper, circulate logs in the processing chain, operating and watching the operation of machinery. A brown horse and white sheep in a small village in the peninsula. Ms. Leroy walks on the beach pebbles. Mr. Leroy tars the roof of a building on his property.
