Fire destroys little town (Londonderry, Nova Scotia 00/00/1920): [remark: starting as a flue fire from a residence home but fueled by the strong wind, the fire acted like a wildfire and spread fast through this little town, destroying most of the community, particularly in the "Flat-Iron" district of the town; 47 to 54 buildings were destroyed, including churches, high school, St. Bridget's hall, and rectory.] PAN of smouldering ruins, countryside in background.
