VARIOUS SHOTS of “ranchos” (shantytowns) in Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela, made up mostly of one-room structures built with salvaged materials, and of the poor people living in them. The ground is strewn with garbage. Nearby, we see a church with a high bell-tower, large buildings and pretty Spanish-style houses.
