Williams Lake, British Columbia, SLOW-MOTION SHOT of Kenny McLean. Originally from the Okanagan Valley and winner of 14 championships, he is still Canada’s most famous rodeo cowboy. He is competing in the saddle bronc riding competition at the Williams Lake Stampede. However, his horse does not want to leave the chute. After hitting the horse a few times with his hat and spurs, the horse leaves the chute but stops very quickly in mid-run. McLean tries to get it going again, but in vain. VARIOUS SHOTS of Kenny McLean receiving the “Best All Around Cowboy” award: a rifle with a scope in a leather case. People are taking pictures of him with his trophy.
