Calgary, Alberta, VARIOUS SHOTS of a random draw for a competition at the Calgary Stampede. One by one, the cowboys step up and pick a small cardboard circle out of a small box. They hand it over to officials who write the information on a note pad and announce it at the microphone. Kenny McLean is one of the competitors. Originally from the Okanagan Valley and winner of 14 championships, he is still Canada’s most famous rodeo cowboy. Sometimes we have a clear view of the crowd in the bleachers.
