Deadwood, South Dakota, VARIOUS SHOTS of the town of Deadwood. We see storefronts. We see the following signs: Rexall, Deadwood Gulch Art Gallery, Olson Guns & Supplies, The Spot Liquors, Free American Indian Museum, as well as a sign for a saloon. The pediment of a building bears the name Deetken and the date 1891. We see several building pediments bearing dates such as 1888 or 1878-1910. In a shop window, there is a sign advertising a rodeo. The local wax figure museum showcases the famous lawman James Butler “Wild Bill” Hickok. He was murdered in cold blood in 1876 by Jack McCall with a bullet to the back of the head while playing poker at the Nuttal & Mann's Saloon. We see the saloon, which has now become a bar, with the mannequin of a hanged man on the front.
