VARIOUS SHOTS inside the Canadian Radioactive Materials Research Centre in Chalk River, Ontario. A technician pulls a lead container, held aloft on a hoist, towards three other technicians. One of them notes something in chalk on the lid, and another does the same on the side of the container. After the first technician has measured the radiation level with a Geiger counter, two other technicians guide the container towards an opening in the floor.
