Various shots of Esterhazy, Saskatchewan. Front-end loader moving around site of International Minerals and Chemicals Corporation’s new potash mine. It transports potash ore and dumps it in huge, coarse-mesh screen. Two workers leaning on sides of screen are waiting for it and guide it in its work. They use sledgehammers to break up pieces of ore that are too big to pass directly through screen. Screened ore falls on conveyor, which carries it to another part of mine.
