B.C. News Stories. Canadian Paramount News, 1954. Clip entitled 10-MILE - TUNNEL WORLD’S FASTEST CONSTRUCTION. Various shots taken at Kemano, British Columbia. A tunnel 16 km long and 8 m wide has been build through Mount Dubose to supply water to an electric power station. Workers and their machinery can be seen, with two groups of workers, each of whom started digging on opposite sides of the tunnel, meeting in the middle.
