Workers are shown arriving, getting their helmet lamps and walking to the cage house. Several shots of miners coming in and out of cage, cage going down with load of miners. Interior cage during descent. Underground sequences on miners drilling into ore body with pneumatic drills, with various MCU's of bits sinking into the rock, on broken ore being transported onto a belt conveyor, with MCU's of ore blurring past the camera, on ore being dumped into ore carts. Shots of ore cart train moving through the tunnels, being unloaded into the crusher by means of a mechanical tipple. MS's, MCU's of crushed ore moving on conveyor, being unloaded into ore lift. Brief sequence on part of the refining process in the plant.
