Long sequence comprised of several shots from various angles of citizens paying their last respects to the Right Honourable John Diefenbaker whose body lies in state in an open casket in the foyer of the centre block of the Parliament Buildings. People are seen filing past the coffin, which is watched over by a guard of honour. A long row of memorial wreaths leads to the casket itself; mourners line both sides of the row of wreaths (618 ft).
